The best feature in my favorites "Luck" and "Elemental" is that there are no villains in both of them as such.

The characters are not fighting against someone throughout the movies, they are fighting against themselves.

Not gonna lie, I thought Sam was going to adopt Hazel at the end of the movie, but then again I appreciated how they kept it realistic by not showing a likely traumatized, barely out of the system girl taking it upon herself to raise another human being.

Looks worse than the soulless, corporate-friendly, clearly trying to make her relatable without any actual personality to relate to

The movie was made by John Lasseter of all people. You know the same John Lasseter than has a known history of sexual harassment. But that's besides the point. I know I can't please everyone but the way overreactionary types act so vile when a design isn't cookie cutter, or so much looks like 'tumblr' is so telling.
